I don’t usually have many smoothies but sometimes I am in the mood for one. When I do create smoothies, I like to mimic something I might have for dessert. This time I had apple pie in mind. I love cinnamon so in this recipe, you might want to tone down the cinnamon if this isn’t one of your absolute favorite spices.
INGREDIENTS:
1 large apple, chopped, cored and frozen ahead of time.
1.5 scoops of vanilla egg white protein powder
1 cup cashew milk
1 cup ice
1/2 cup whole rolled oats
2 tbsp cashew butter
1 heaping tablespoon cinnamon or less depending on your love for cinnamon. 🙂
DIRECTIONS:
Place all ingredients together in a high-speed blender and mix until ice and other ingredients have come together in a nice thick smoothie consistency.
